GNATHOLOGY

Gnathology studies the relationship between the upper jaw and mandible, the temporomandibular joint, the muscles of mastication and the nerves that control them.

Gnathology treatment consists of restoring the normal relationship between the above factors and takes place through muscle exercises, various massage techniques to resolve muscle contractions, myofunctional speech therapy and the application of dental guards (orthotics for chewing).

The diagnosis and treatment of related or unrelated myo-articular diseases with malocclusion.
